Not research based but based on experience as a students, how do fellow students work. Studies use of technology in society. But still no student uses laptops for notes, or twitter. She says she’s a nerd. paperless student (since a year).

Do you want to force students to come to the lectures they don’t need? You can read thourgh it a lot quicker. Why would you study analoge and not digtally?

Focus time, tracks what you did working behind your computer. Sets you back if you’re out of focus.

Why is this made so hard. Why should you type misspelled words from a paper book. Even if you have it digitally you cannot copy the books because the publishers are afraid you will misuse it.

The way students have to work is old fashioned.

People don’t like to be a beginner. They either learn fast or drop out. Let an interface ermind people of how to use it, because it might be a long time since the last visit.

If cats and two year olds can use an iPad, why should systems for student bet hat hard?
